Reader’s Question:

I am a 24-year old student in dental medicine and I am still single. Is there such thing as a student life insurance policy in Missouri? I am hoping I can find one that is cheaper than the regular type of life insurance policy.

You have such great thinking, Gene.

I am very much impressed by your initiative to insure yourself even if you’re still single and still in school. For students like you, there are a bunch of life insurance policies out there that offer cheap student life insurance quotes. Some life insurance policies even give you free life insurance when you sign up while still a student. You will pay them a year after you graduation if you plan to stick with the same life insurance company.

Too good to be true, isn’t it? It is just one of the marketing strategies of most insurance companies in Missouri who understand the special needs of students like you. Who pays for your insurance then before graduation? Apparently it is subsidized by other existing policyholders. You can shop around from the internet of such benefits.

Most students in Missouri like you who are still single without any qualified dependents simply need a 10-year term life insurance policy. It is not only a cheap life insurance policy for you, it is also very simple and easy to understand. Although a term life insurance policy expires after a specific term or period of time, you can always renew. Just be sure you get a term student life insurance policy that is guaranteed not to increase premiums with renewable terms. Remember always that there is not really an age too early for individuals to consider purchasing any type of life insurance.
